Microsoft Security full scans usually take about thirteen hours on my tiny computer. The record was - and I am not exagerating - thirty seven hours. However, the one I ran today had a record time: only five and a half hours. Way to go, Microsoft!
Now if I can just figure out how to make comments on other people's blogs... if anybody out there, especially Elizabeth, can enlighten me as to how I can comment on people's blogs, please, please do so! Computers/technology don't like me. Can anybody relate?
Marta, I think the biggest thing is finding a person's blog directly and then just posting a comment at the end of any blog entry. Here's my blog: williamwestwoodjr.blogspot.com Go there, have a look at any of my blogs, and say hi. Should work and I'll let you know if you're successful! BTW, great article that your mom sent me. Also love the name Pasadagavra (I'm half way through your book and liking the story a lot). Great name for Book II!
ReplyDeleteUnder the blog post, it should say '0 comments' or however many there are, and you can click on that. It will take you to a page that will allow you to type in a white box. When you're done (you have to be signed in to comment), you just hit 'Post Comment' and it should publish your comment. Let me know if that does or doesn't work! :)

ReplyDeleteIf the scan takes 37 hours, your PC really hates you. And probably laughs maniacally when you're not within earshot. Sort of like me and cell phones. Mobile phone + me = frustration and failure.
ReplyDeleteRealistically, even a full scan shouldn't take that long. Do you still have that issue with your computer?
